Energie-opwekkend spinning fiets / Energy-generating spinning cycle
In de afgelopen maanden werd in de media veel aandacht besteed aan de eerste energie-opwekkende draaideur. Geïnspireerd door de draaideur vroeg de ConsuMinderman Sebastiaan Labrie van Omroep LLINK zich af of de technologie van de draaideur (in feite het inductie principe dat bijvoorbeeld in een fiets dynamo wordt gebruikt) ook op spinningfietsen in de sportschool toegepast kan worden. Het product bestaat nog niet op de markt, maar wetenschappers van de TU Delft kunnen Sebastiaan uiteindelijk helpen. Zij ontwikkelen een prototype voor een energie-opwekkende spinningfiets. Inspired by the world’s first energy-generating revolving door Sebastiaan Labrie from Dutch broadcaster LLINK looked into the possibility of adapting the technology of the door to be used in the popular spinning cycles found in health clubs. He finds that no such cycle is currently available, but presuades scientist of the Technical University in Delft to develop a working prototype.
